Andrew White
My name is Andy White. I live in Tring with my wife and three children and a car with over 200,00 miles on the clock.

It's a privilege to stand for ReformUK as a councillor for our loved town of Tring.

My ambition is to unite our community under a shared vision of fairness, progress, and opportunity for all, whether you’re a lifelong local, a new arrival, a small business owner, or someone striving to make your mark, I believe that our strength lies in unity. ReformUK stands for genuine cross-roads in local politics that listens to your concerns, values your ideas.

Local government should truly serve the people and not be dragged into routine 'pot hole maintenance. Join me in this journey to create a community where hope, progress, and unity reign—because every one of us deserves a future we can be proud of.
- Greenbelt preservation. Oppose local mass-scale housing development. I was quite involved in this and known to many. The plans were dropped but have since been amended so locals have to fight the same battle
- Street lights between Tring and Tring station. This area is run by Albury parish. We have many pointless lights elsewhere (for example on the road from Tring to Aston-Clinton hill). 1000s of people cycle to Tring station every day from Tring and have to do it in darkness
- Encourage cycling to school. Tring School (and others) have totally empty bike-sheds with traffic queues going to the school every morning.- Greenbelt preservation. I am running to be your county councilor for South Oxhey & Eastbury - the community my family has called home for three generations. I am not a career politician. I am in my 20s and fed up with our area being ignored. With experience managing multi- million- pound sports facilities and community projects, I know investing in people and places makes a real difference. For too long, politicians have let us down. I am standing to fight for real change and put our community first.
I will fight to.
Fix our roads and local transport.
Tackle Crime and antisocial behavior.
Better Schools and a new secondary School.
Stop Overdevelopment.
A business Hub for everyone

I grew up in in Harrow, Middlesex, leaving school at 15 with no qualifications to become a solider. In my seven years in the ranks, I was stationed in Wales, Sussex, Kent, Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong. The Army was great and allowed me to get educated with qualifications which gained me a place at King’s College, London, from where my law degree allowed me to become a barrister; a profession in which I still work.

My wife, Liz, and I have lived in Redbourn for over 35 years but are very much in contact with Flamstead and the surrounding villages.
If I was elected as a County Councillor, I will not be disruptive of the current arrangements but will vigorously challenge over spending (and hence Council tax) especially if our money is being wasted on unnecessary campaigns with dedicated officers, consultations, etc. on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (obviously I agree that everyone should be treated fairly, irrespective of race, gender, etc.) Similarly money spent on net zero is a waste and not only costing councils lots of money but imposing massive unnecessary costs on ordinary households.
Highways are no doubt an immediate issue. We want potholes repaired but I am not sure they are repaired to last that long. Temporary traffic lights are a total pain. Yes, if roads and underground utilities (gas, water, electric, fibre) are to be repaired or upgraded, roads have to be closed or restricted. But it needs a close look at as to how this is managed; we have roads dug up and then a few weeks later dug up again with more temporary lights, etc.

Local leadership has never been more important. That is why I am standing as a councillor in the upcoming Berkhamsted Election. My name is Adrian Steeples and I am representing the UK Reform party. I have lived in Berkhamsted on and off for over 35 years and have seen many changes in “Berko” over that period.

A little about me, I worked for BP for nearly 23 years in a variety of roles with ever increasing responsibilities and expanding accountability. In 2009 I left and joined an American chemical company and had senior Executive roles based in Shanghai and Amsterdam but Berkhamsted was always my UK base. Some of my children and step children went to school here and now that I have retired I want to give something back to the community.
Like a lot of people I have been extremely disappointed by the Conservative Party over the last 14 years and find my views are very much aligned with the reform party. I am alarmed by the ever increasing Council tax, the scale of the future building program in and around Berko without any commensurate increase in infrastructure and the lack of coordination for roadworks particularly on Kings Road and Shootersway. I look forward to meeting as many people as I can over the next six weeks and hopefully persuading a few people to vote for me.

The people of this country need a change, a real choice for something different.
That starts at District and County level; and that is why I have stepped forward, to serve the community I Love.
