In this clip, Susan Hall asks Sadiq Khan if he is satisfied that the signage in London is legal.

 


He replies: "Yes, I am satisfied." 

But here's what puzzles me...  

On 27 August 2023, the Sun newspaper published an article confirming that the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) had been ruled unlawful.

And yet, on 28 August 2023, the very next day, TfL expanded the ULEZ into the LEZ area. 

Was this deliberate?

Did he and TFL ignore a legally binding decision?

Did the Mayor knowingly proceed with the expansion despite being made aware of this ruling? 

Has the London Mayor deliberately mislead the London Assembly?

Who has briefed the London Mayor when the Sun article was specific to him ?

Serious questions need to be asked
