🎉We did it! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve hit our £28,000 target to fully fund Saba Poursaeedi’s legal fight for free speech!

A huge thank you to the 1,145 people who donated — your support sends a powerful message: political discrimination at work will not go unchallenged. Former housing officer @ReformSaba  lost his job over his links to @reformparty_uk  and for reposting a cartoon from The Telegraph — a satirical piece by award-winning cartoonist Matt Pritchett, known for his light-hearted humour.

Hightown Housing Association claimed that Reform UK’s policies on immigration, net zero, and housing were “in direct conflict” with its own values.” It also condemned the cartoon as “racist” — even though it simply mocked the UAE, an authoritarian state with a grim record on women’s rights and press freedom, buying a British newspaper.

This is a political witch hunt. One in five Britons say they’ll vote Reform at the next election — should supporting a mainstream party really cost someone their job? Especially when Hightown has no issue employing Labour Party organisers.

Now, thanks to you, Saba can take his case to the Employment Tribunal and fight for justice. @HightownHA, Hi!  We're ready if you are.
