John Aaron Spokesman for Reform UK Hertfordshire

Jack lives with his wife and baby son in Welwyn Garden City. A practising psychologist, he is intrigued by how culture and social dynamics drive political developments. On Saturdays, he is often to be found at the local Hebrew Congregation, where he is dedicated to safeguarding and supporting the Jewish community for future generations. He is a self-described 'small c conservative' who left the Conservative Party over their abandonment of tradition in favour of empty consumerism, their willingness to erode quality of life in the pursuit of net zero, and neglect for personal freedoms and child wellbeing in their response to Covid. Especially important to Jack is education, restoring a national pride to English life, and protecting the values that made Britain great.

He feels privileged to live in one of only two garden cities in the UK, and wishes to see it protected as part of our heritage, rather than compromised by rapid high-rise flat construction. Going further, he would like it to be the model for a new, aesthetically-conscious standard of civic planning, rather than the exception, eventually seeing many more built in England's green and pleasant land.

In joining Reform UK, Jack has joined the fight to reverse declining birthrates with policies that support traditional families, restore belief in the sanctity of marriage, see an end to the sterilisation of minors in our medical institutions, and teach the values of responsibility and self-sacrifice in raising the children of the future.

He has likewise joined the fight to embed meritocracy into hiring practices for all industries, so that no one is discriminated against by the desire to meet arbitrary quotas. Similarly he would slim down and reform the House of Lords to include only the meritorious, not the politically connected.

Recognising the extraordinary value that ethnic minorities can bring to Britain, Jack would like to re-configure the principles of immigration, so that we continue to invite, welcome and assimilate the best of the world, but not allow our way of life to be compromised or threatened by ghettos of counter-culture.

Similarly, recognising the changes in our climate, but likewise the destructive futility of enforced decarbonisation, Jack endorses a 'prepare not prevent' strategy to protect cities, biodiversity, and indigenous populations from worst-case scenarios, while investing in nuclear energy to safeguard our economic prosperity avoid depriving the developing nations in the rest of the world.

Furthermore, he seeks to enshrine our freedoms more strongly into law, so that we are never again locked in our homes by press-induced panic, and feel able to speak the truth openly without fear of reprisal from terrorist groups, the social media mob or a frivolous waste of police resources.
